Though the United States of America had spawned cars like the Saleen S7, SSC Ultimate Aero and the Ford GT, the cry for a modern mid-engined American sports car for the mainstream market was loud among the petrolhead community. And whether they like it or not, they’re all watching their wishes come to life as Chevrolet revealed the 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray.
The world is yet to see people bonkers enough to buy a 380+ hp hatchback and then long for more power. But Mercedes-AMG’s latest creations, the 2020 Mercedes-AMG A45 S and CLA 45 S, exist now, apparently boasting the most powerful four-cylinder production engine ever.
Hyundai is on a roll. The Korean brand have wet their feet in every mainstream category there is, with a decent amount of success thanks to good design and great value. However, they’ve been conspicuously absent from the large SUV market. Their largest SUV was the decidedly midsize Hyundai Grand Santa Fe. But now they have the all-new 2020 Palisade — a slightly-bigger midsize SUV.
In a break from tradition (if there are any left), BMW has taken their 8-series coupe and added two more doors to it. With this, they add their new contender to the “4-door Coupe” segment, after the old 6 Series Gran-Coupe.

We were invited to South Korea for a week in which we got to take a spin in the all-new 2020 Sonata.
With numerous hatchbacks on stilts claiming to be SUVs nowadays, proper off-roading artillery is hard to come by. Ford’s bigger F-Series trucks can now be had with a Tremor Off-road package. This package is for the Ford Super Duty series of trucks, arming them with greater towing capacity and payload as well. It seems poised to put the Ram 2500 Power Wagon back in its place, low in the totem pole of trucks.
Ford’s SUV onslaught continues, as they start phasing out regular cars in many markets. This time, they have revived an old moniker to christen their latest offering — the 2020 Ford Puma.

However, boundaries have been blurred over the past decade and a half, and a sub-genre has emerged that morphs these two divergent vehicle types into a single entity.
To celebrate 50 years since the launch of the first GT-R, Nissan has released a GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition package. The package offers three “heritage” exterior colour schemes – blue with white stripes, pearl white with red stripes and silver with white stripes. The colours are inspired from the KPGC10-based race cars. The “Bayside Blue” is the first time Nissan is offering the famous blue shade from the R34 Skyline GT-R model on the R35.
