American tuner Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) does not have the best of reputations in the United States, but whatever they do create is always noteworthy. Already busy developing a 705 hp version of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro with a modified Corvette ZR1 engine, which they plan to launch in early 2010, Hennessey is currently launching a simpler 562 hp Camaro, calling it the HPE550.
Hyundai has released the first image of its mildly-facelifted 2010 Santa Fe in South Korea, ahead of the crossover 4×4’s Korean launch in July. The reworked 2010 model features some modest cosmetic changes.

The Formula One Teams’ Association, FOTA, has officially announced that it is setting up a breakaway championship, during a press conference on June 19. Following a four-hour meeting, the eight FOTA members that includes Ferrari, McLaren, Renault, BMW Sauber, Toyota, Brawn, Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Toro Rosso, said they had grown frustrated with the FIA’s stance on new rules for 2010, and had no choice but to create their own series.
