Aston Martin has released a convertible version of the Vanquish Zagato Coupe that was revealed last May at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy. Named the Vanquish Zagato Volante, the car is the latest creation of a collaboration between Aston Martin and the Italian design house Zagato.
Barely three months ago, BMW unveiled the BMW Zagato Coupe, a one-off automobile jointly developed by BMW and the renowned Italian coachbuilder Zagato, at a prestigious classic and vintage auto exhibition in Italy. However, the collaborative efforts never ended there, as both the companies proceeded to create a Roadster variant in a record production-time of just six weeks, and calling it the BMW Zagato Roadster.
The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este held on the scenic shores of Lake Como in northern Italy is amongst the best places for automotive manufacturers to showcase their offerings and that is what BMW intends to do with their Zagato Coupe concept.
