Volvo are making some of the best-looking cars in the luxury car market and they look to continue that trend with the recent unveiling of their all-new 2019 Volvo V60 wagon. The V60 wagon comes to rein back some of the Wagon cars’ popularity that was lost to SUVs in the recent times and on paper, it looks equipped just for that purpose.
Volvo has revealed details on changes for 2017, to update the safety and powertrain options in the Swedish carmaker’s lineup.
We’ve never been fans of wagons. Wagon-love is only a thing among bloggers who claim to be car enthusiasts, yet drive about in boring cars that are not wagons. The idea of unassuming powerful wagons is cute as well, but doesn’t work in a flamboyant market such as ours, where looks are everything and power cannot be used anywhere. The 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show was one of the more prominent end-of-the-year car shows this year with a host of new releases. And one of those “important” releases was from Volvo, who decided to debut its niche wagon, the V60 Cross Country.
Volvo has unveiled the facelifted versions of the V70, XC70 and S80 as well as the ’60’ series models, including the S60, V60 and XC60 models, at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
Though the all-new 2011 Volvo S60 has yet to hit UAE roads, the Chinese-owned Swedish firm has launched the wagon version of the new sedan. The new model, dubbed the V60, seems to occupy a new position in the Volvo wagon line-up, somewhere between the V50 and the V70 in size.
