Here is the new Rolls-Royce Wraith Regatta, a work of American experiential designer Eddie Sotto who used to be the Senior Vice President of Concept Design for Walt Disney Imagineering. The Rolls-Royce Wraith, even in its standard form, is one of the most opulent cars currently on sale. The Regatta takes it to a whole new level with the addition of wood. A lot of it.

When our editor asked me if I wanted to attend a Roll Royce drive event, I didn’t think twice. And I didn’t even bother to ask which Rolls Royce I was getting to drive. Turns out the event was to introduce us to the newest member of the Rolls Royce family, the Wraith.

Rolls-Royce Celestial Phantom at Dubai Motor Show most expensive ever

Rolls-Royce unveiled their most valuable car in history, the Celestial Phantom, at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show. It was made to celebrate the handover of the first Phantom to its owner back in January 2003. Other Rolls-Royce models to make their GCC debut were the Phantom Coupe Chicane, the Alpine Trial Centenary Collection and the Wraith.

Yep, we’ve reached our peak. There’s nothing left to aim for any more. Being among the first bunch of people to test-drive the Rolls-Royce Wraith at an international media launch event in Europe is about as high as you could go up the ladder when it comes to overseas trips. The icing on the cake was the event itself — the sportiest Rolls-Royce ever, driven in the Austrian countryside with no chaperones!
