Nissan rolled out the single and crew cab versions of its full-size Titan pickup a few months ago for the American market. At the 2017 Chicago Motor Show, they added a King Cab version to act as an intermediate option.
Nissan’s reborn full-size pickup truck, the Titan, receives new body styles for 2017. The versions revealed recently are two single cab models, a first for the Titan.
Nissan introduced the Titan XD a few months ago and it was positioned between half-ton and the three-quarter-ton pickups from other brands. Now at the Chicago Auto Show last week, they have spawned a baby brother for the XD, the standard sized half-ton Titan which is slated for 2017. The half-ton Titan might look like a ringer of its big brother, but Nissan swears that beneath the body panels, it shares close to no chassis components with the bigger model. Apparently even the lug nuts are different.
Nissan unveiled the all-new 2016 Nissan Titan XD at the 2015 Northern American International Auto Show, held in Detroit recently.
An Associated Press news report states that Nissan will recall 48,700 truck-based SUV models for a suspension problem that could lead to a harsh ride. The recall, which is slated to begin by next week, includes the 2010 model-years of the Nissan Titan pickup, Pathfinder, Armada and Xterra, as well as the Armada-based Infiniti QX56.
