Mitsubishi is finally rolling down the curtains on the fourth-generation Pajero after 15 years on sale with almost no changes. The Japanese brand launched a Mitsubishi Pajero Final Edition in Australia, after they stopped selling the SUV in Japan back in 2019.
A set of patent drawings have been leaked on the internet, purportedly depicting the next-generation Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.
The facelifted 2015 Mitsubishi Pajero has been revealed, and is already heading to showrooms in Oman, followed by Saudi Arabia and the UAE. It is already on sale in Japan.
A redesign of the popular Mitsubishi Pajero is long overdue. Selling in big numbers as a cheap alternative to the Toyota Prado, the Pajero has carved a niche for itself in the UAE and elsewhere. But it seems Mitusbishi is busy experimenting with what direction to go in with the next-generation model.

So it is time for another update on our Mitsubishi Pajero. Having covered over 15,000 kms since the last post, and over 37,000 km since buying it almost a year ago, we still do not have anything negative to write about it. Besides some off-road-abuse-inflicted damages, the Pajero runs absolutely fine.
Owning a four-wheel-drive is a dream for the majority of the population in the Middle East, particularly due to the excessive feeling of safety, the commanding view and availability of cheap gasoline. Sadly enough, barely a few realise the true potential of these vehicles, the result being these unfortunate four-wheel-drives living the life of a budget sedan. One such commonly-seen family SUV is the Mitsubishi Pajero, which also happens to be our new long-term hauler.
The 2012 Mitsubishi Shogun, better known as the Pajero in the GCC, has received a facelift in Europe. Of course, calling it a “facelift” is pushing it.
