Jaguar-Land Rover is on a roll, refreshing their mildly-aging range starting with the Jaguar XF sedan, E-Pace, Land Rover Discovery and now their smallest Range Rover offering. The 2021 Range Rover Evoque arrives with a small facelift on the second-generation Evoque that was released just two years ago. With this update, the baby Range Rover gets more technology and an air filter system.
The Range Rover SV Coupe, which was to be a limited-edition expensive version of the regular Range Rover, has been canceled before a single example has been built.

V8 engines are synonymous with Range Rovers, ever since the first-gen model debuted way back in 1970. True, there is now a supercharged V6 and various turbodiesels (in other markets) on offer, but the V8 has always been the core powerplant in the range – especially in the Middle East.

The month of August has registered a bunch of recalls in the U.S. that might affect the cars in our market as well. The Takata Airbag related problems continue to surface, with Jaguar Land Rover initiating a recall for the same in the past month.
We’re done with the Range Rover. It’s been almost 4 years since we bought it, and we were supposed to sell it years ago, but we kept it for this long because it was just so darn satisfying to drive around in. But we finally made up our minds and put it up for sale on just our genuinely-popular Facebook page, and sold it in less than a week.
We’ve driven the 2006 Range Rover. We’ve driven the 2010 Range Rover. Heck, we own a 2005 Range Rover. We’ve also driven all the smaller iterations of the Range Rover that have cropped up in the past decade, namely the Sport and the Evoque. But for one reason or another, we’ve never had the chance to drive the current-generation Range Rover. Doesn’t matter though, as the thing is selling like hot cakes, even in the current economy. The rainy season is finally upon us in Dubai, if you can call it a season. It hardly rains around here, but when it does, it pours and brings parts of the city to a standstill. With mini-floods building up on dipped roads and certain underpasses, it’s one of those times when we really appreciate our Range Rover.
