Honda Middle East recently launched the upgraded 2020 CR-V in the region. The new model gets some exterior updates, different design for the 18-inch alloy wheels, upgraded features and added new exterior colors.
Honda Middle East has introduced a new entry-level SUV, the HR-V, in their lineup, placed below the CR-V and Pilot. The Pilot also received a refresh for this year, while the CR-V gets some more tech. The 2019 CB1000R motorcycle was released as well, which gets new looks and features. Also, Honda revealed new updated Marine engines with new technology and reduced maintenance times.
We drove this new Honda CR-V just before heading out to Japan to drive, among other things, a Civic Type-R. While the two cars are miles apart, it is easy to forget that Honda has always been a clever engineering company, given that we don’t see the company’s most popular creations at showrooms here. However, the new CR-V actually has a lot of engineering poured into it, for the benefit of regular folks rather than just enthusiasts.
Honda is adding to their portfolio of redesigned models with the introduction of the all-new 2017 CR-V in the UAE and GCC. Completely different, yet familiar as a CR-V, the compact crossover has some new tricks up its sleeve.

Some carmakers change a couple of headlights and shamelessly call their facelifted model an “all-new” car because, you know, we’re all idiots. However, Honda held a rather late media-drive event for their already-launched 2015 CR-V and they kept reiterating that it is, indeed, just a minor update. But from what we could see, there seems to be some substantial changes under the familiar skin.
The 2015 Honda CR-V has been refreshed. Both the exterior and interior have been improved in the new model. A new engine has been added as well.

Carmakers share so many standardised parts due to having common parts suppliers nowadays that if one of these bits turn out to be faulty, several unrelated car brands are affected. Such is the case with the latest mass recall of 3.4 million vehicles produced by four unrelated Japanese carmakers between 2000 and 2004 for faulty airbags produced by parts-supplier Takata Corp. Information is also emerging that General Motors and BMW may also be affected.
The outgoing Honda CR-V was one car that really needed a makeover. As versatile as it was, the exterior design was way too awkward. Still, it sold in droves because it was, well, a Honda. The CR-V has been given a makeover for 2012, and it looks pretty slick now.
