When Mercedes-AMG launched the A 45 S AMG and CLA 45 S AMG back in 2019, they were (and still are) the most powerful four-cylinder cars on the planet. Now, Mercedes-AMG has plonked in the same mill into their sub-compact quasi-crossover — the newly revamped GLA — to give birth to the 2021 GLA 45 AMG. But this time around, there’s none of that bounty of power.
Despite rumours, there is no direct successor to the legendary S2000. The car ended production more than a decade ago, but as owners we can attest that spare parts will probably become a worry in the future. Though the roots of the young brand and the sedan-only lineup were mocked by many, Genesis is still around, honing their products year after year. An SUV was a long time coming. It has been christened Genesis GV80.
