Last year, when we actually had some contact with Ford, we were told that the Ford F-150 Raptor would come to the GCC eventually, but only in four-door form fitted with a larger 6.2-litre V8, instead of the two-door version with the 5.4-litre V8 that debuted in 2009. The four-door version has finally come to fruition, dubbed the 2011 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor SuperCrew.
Ford releases a “Harley Davidson” edition of their F-150 pickup truck almost every year, and this year is no different. The latest 2011 F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition will get the new 6.2-litre V8 powerplant that first debuted in the 2nd-generation F-150 Raptor.
Hennessey Performance has built a new performance package for the 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. Calling it the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500, power has been beefed up significantly creating one quick off-road beast.
It took long enough, but the 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, quiet possibly the most aggressive offroad truck ever, is on display at the 2009 Dubai Motor Show, and it will be offered in GCC countries sometime next year.

As Ford teeters on the brink of bankruptcy, it is a last hurrah for SVT before quietly winding down operations.
