أطلِقت ميني كونتريمان في الشرق الأوسط في حدث مفعم بالنشاطات في دبي امتد على يومين وضمّ عدداً مختلفاً من مساحات القيادة لاختبار قدرات الدفع الرباعي المستمرّ في ميني الجديدة. وسيارة ميني كونتريمان هي الطراز الرابع الذي ينضمّ إلى عائلة ميني، وهو طراز ميني الأول بطول أربعة أمتار مع أربعة أبواب وأربعة مقاعد فردية وخيار الدفع الرباعي المستمرّ. ويحافظ هذا الطراز الجديد على نفحة ميني الفريدة، لكنه علاوة على ذلك يمتاز بتصميم ملفت وشخصية رياضية ويسدّ الثغرة ما بين مفهوم ميني الكلاسيكي وسيارات النشاط الرياضي المعاصرة.

ذلك، وكشفت ميني، العلامة التجارية التي لا تعرف حدوداً عن خاصية “ميني كونيكتد” MINI Connected الجديدة.

We just received a press release stating that the 2011 Mini Countryman had its GCC launch in Dubai with a “two-day action packed adventure” for the media around the UAE. We also heard from some Sharjah newspaper journalist that even he was invited. But of course, we being a small-time website with only 100,000 audited GCC readers and 280,000 worldwide users, with five times more web traffic than Car Middle East or any other local website, were deemed not worthy enough to join the party.

The Lexus IS F sports sedan may have just debuted in the UAE and other GCC countries for the first time in 2011, but it has been around elsewhere since the 2008 model year. In fact, the Lexus IS F’s Middle East debut coincided with a 2011-specific upgrade. Also, we just wanted to make use of photos that were taken by Faisal Khatib back when we tested the car.

Ferrari has broken tradition and made their first ever four-wheel-drive “thing”, the FF, short for Ferrari Four. Or it could stand for Ferrari Ferrari Four. Or it could mean Ferrari Front-engine Front-wheel-drive, as per the common meaning of the “FF” term. One thing is for sure, and that is it will replace the stunning 612 Scaglietti. The 2012 Ferrari FF will debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
