The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has launched a new initiative entitled ‘Reflect Your Special Moments on Your Number Plate’, offering residents a chance to select five-digit vehicle number-plates signifying important dates and events in their lives such as birthdays, wedding dates and graduation dates.

Nine months, three dealer services, and 37,000 km later, the odometer in our Megane now ticked over at 67,246 km, thanks to my other business that requires a lot of driving. It was their best seller in their entire line-up worldwide till 2012, when it was overtaken by the Q5 crossover. As a part of Dubai’s continuing efforts to plug the city into the world community inclined towards “Going Green,” the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has announced that it has planned to set up two more charging stations at different locations in the city, taking the total count of such stations to nine. This will help electric cars gain more popularity in petrol-friendly Dubai as it will help electric car owners to charge their vehicles on the go.
