Brabus B63-620 WIDESTAR pumps up the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG
This is the weirdly-named Brabus B63-620 WIDESTAR. It’s named like so because it is based off of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG. And it has “620” horses. And it’s very wide.
This is the weirdly-named Brabus B63-620 WIDESTAR. It’s named like so because it is based off of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG. And it has “620” horses. And it’s very wide.
Brabus has been creating 320 km/h speedsters based on Mercedes-Benz sedans since 1996, beginning with the Brabus E V12 that had a top speed of 330 kph. It’s latest iteration is the Brabus Rocket 800 launched at the 2011 IAA Frankfurt motor show.
With a top speed of 322.3 kph, German tuner Brabus claims that their new modified Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class crossover has set a new speed record for street-legal SUVs on an Italian high-speed test track in October. That’s because the exclusive special model is powered by a twin-turbo V12 engine. Incidentally, it will also makes its world debut at the 2009 Dubai Motor Show.
German tuners Brabus is now offering a tuning package for the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG, complete with a pumped-up engine and a robotic body kit.
While the GCC is left to fawn over the ugly 2010 E-Class sedan, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe just went on sale in Europe and Brabus already has an extensive tuning program in place for the new two-door CLK replacement. The pinnacle of the performance tuning options is the BRABUS 6.1 engine.
