2018 Toyota Supra rumoured to be in the pipeline

2018 Toyota Supra rumoured to be in the pipeline

A joint venture between Toyota and BMW was formed at the beginning of 2013 to produce a sports car under each brand. While it is clear that the boffins at BMW is working on a Z4 replacement likely to be called the Z5, the picture of the Toyota’s iteration still remains murky. But in June 2016, Toyota has trademarked the iconic “Supra” moniker with the European Union Intellectual Property Office. This has pointed squarely at a reinvention of the tuner favourite, the Toyota Supra. Long-term update: Running costs of Omar's BMW M135i in Qatar

Long-term update: Running costs of Omar’s BMW M135i in Qatar

It’s been a good while with the 2013 BMW M135i so let’s talk about running costs. Servicing is cheap as it comes with a 5-year service pack so the only thing I should have to cover are tyres (which I’m sure will be fearsomely expensive if I stick with the OEM Pilot Super Sports) and batteries. Well, here we have the BMW M2, which some say is better than anything else the company makes right now.

Any doubts I had were dispelled as soon as I laid eyes on my car at the dealership upon its arrival. With the M Sport kit, the M135i looks far more aggressive and purposeful than the vanilla 1 series. The M Sport front bumper especially adds a lot of presence (and a bit of menace) to the car. I really love the stance of the 1-Series with its long hood giving a laid back stance courtesy of the longitudinal engine,
