2015 BMW M3 and M4 revealed

Dubai Police had their own stand at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show, and had five cars on display, including a never-before-seen Nissan GT-R, an Audi R8 and a Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG. Interestingly, Brabus also announced that they’ve built a tuned police-livery Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, dubbed the B63S-700 Widestar, although it was conspicuously absent from both the Dubai Police and the Brabus stands.
Replacing the awkward 1-Series Coupe, the BMW 2-Series has been revealed, ahead of its appearance at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in January. Initial variants include the 220i, the 228i and the M235i, alongside a few Europe-specific diesel variants.
BMW’s busy year continues as they introduce to us the BMW 4-Series Convertible. The convertible is expected to make its official debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
The 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show is under way in Germany, with a number of new product launches, otherworldly concepts and near-production concepts. Some of the new models launched include the Nissan X-Trail, the Volkswagen Golf R and the Bentley Continental GT V8 S. Some of the near-production concepts, which hint at the future direction of these brands, include the sleek Infiniti Q30, the staid Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe, the unlikely Volvo Coupe and the unfortunate BMW Active Tourer. BMW have shed the details of their latest offering to the ‘green car’ industry, the X5 e-Drive. And yes, it is another plug-in concept model, only this time, it is based on the upcoming X5, and is expected to be unveiled in a few weeks at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Some weeks back we were treated with the BMW 4-Series with M-performance parts. But apparently, things are getting serious as BMW unveiled the M4 Coupe Concept at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance at Monterey recently.
BMW has officially lifted the ‘concept’ tag that had been hovering around the much anticipated i3. And yes, the car did make a media appearance sometime ago, but it did wear a light exterior and interior camouflage. Anyways, BMW took off all the unwanted distractions and made the big announcement this week.
We have to say that this was expected following BMW stopping production of the M3 coupe. BMW revealed this week the 4-Series Coupe sprinkled with a dash of ‘M Performance’ parts, subsequently giving us an initial taste of the upcoming M4.
Yes folks, it is true. The orange car you see here is the final M3 Coupe that will be made, as the production of the two-door, fixed-roof M3 has officially ended.
