BMW X5 and X6 were the German brand’s SUV flagships for a long time till the bigger X7, and then the iX came around. But the SUVs are still success stories for BMW and the 2024 BMW X5 and X6 are here to keep them fresh. The new SUVs get some cosmetic updates and bring in some changes under the hood.
Remember the Ssangyong Actyon? Distinguished by a roofline that tapered sharply at the rear, it was arguably the first SUV-coupe in the world. The only problem? It wasn’t particularly good, which meant it never sold in significant numbers, so the Korean carmaker quietly laid it to rest in 2010 after a five-year production run.
What is with BMW and their grills? The 2020 BMW 7 Series and X7 came with a massive kidney grill that got people frowning in doubt. And now, the new 2020 BMW X6 too is here with a peculiar grill. This time though, it’s not the size of the grill that BMW has played with. They have lit it up, quite literally.
BMW has officially revealed the 2015 X6. This is the first redesign since the model’s inception back in 2009.

BMW M, the German carmaker’s legendary performance subsidiary, has rolled out four new BMW M models, all set to debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show soon. BMW had a track event at the Dubai Autodrome racetrack last week. After numerous complaints by owners, threats of a lawsuit and lambasting on U.S. news channels, BMW’s American arm is now conducting a full recall on all models fitted with the “award-winning” turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-6 engine due to reports of fuel pump failure.
BMW claims that their X6 is a “coupe” while it has four doors. While that tidbit was thought up by marketing types, and is completely wrong, BMW still had hit on their hands.
