The new-for-2011 Nissan Juke is attracting attention at auto shows in Europe and the United States, and we figured we’ll also give it some attention. Simply another entry into the crossover genre, the Juke tries to stand out for the sake of standing out, with an outlandish exterior design that will either induce stares or puke.
The current Subaru Impreza WRX sedan is lukewarm, to say the least, looking like a econo-appliance rather than the sporting compact that it is. But the 2011 model is going to be facelifted, with a widebody kit similar to the WRX STI.

Finally some news from Toyota which isn’t bad. The Corolla AE-86 from the 1980s, became popular in the modified scene, with its real-wheel drive format and perfect balance. Hard to believe Corollas were cool once. The Toyota FT-86 concept was showed off by Toyota and from the looks of it, the magic could be back.
The Porsche 918 Spyder is not only going to be super fast, but also super fuel-efficient as it will be a hybrid. Already electric versions of the 911 GT3 R Hybrid and the 2011 Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid being released, the 918 Spyder will also follow Porsche’s new trend of building fast cars while keeping emission levels low.
Details of the 2011 Peugeot 508, which will be the replacement for the 407 and 607 models, have been revealed. Featuring a big grill and rounded curves all over, it looks pretty good in these initial pictures. The engine details have only been released for the hybrid model.
Mercedes-Benz recently showed off its new F800 at the Geneva Auto Show. The bold, futuristically designed Mercedes-Benz F800 is said to be the next CLS.
The European Registry is sort of a copyright database for product designs, including all-new cars. The Registry therefore has photos of never-before-seen models, and some of these occasionally leak into the public domain. Like the 2011 Kia Sportage, for instance.
A new version of the Toyota FT-86 concept has been revealed at the Tokyo Auto Salon, a motor show of sorts. Dubbed the FT-86 G Sports Concept, it is also featured in the new trailer for the upcoming PS3 video game Gran Turismo 5.
Cadillac has unveiled the fullsize XTS Platinum Concept at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The concept showcases Cadillac’s new top-of-the-line “Platinum” series of models, which include new luxury tech and a plug-in hybrid system. The XTS is expected to replace both the STS and the DTS sedans by 2011.
