When Ford launched the Bronco SUV, it was almost certain that a high-performance version was in the works. Dubbed the Ford Bronco Raptor or possibly Warthog, the high-performance Bronco will up the appeal of the SUV, especially with the V8 Jeep Wrangler right around the corner. Ford has now teased us with a lively picture of the upcoming fast Bronco, albeit with heavy camouflage.
The Ford Bronco caused quite a stir when it debuted about a month ago, far more than anything that rivals from Jeep and Land Rover could cook up. However, with the top engine option limited to a 310 hp 2.7-litre turbo V6, it seemed like Ford left something on the table for a future higher-performance model such as a Ford Bronco Raptor. That plan was invariably “confirmed” after a long-time Ford engineer mentioned he (or she?) is working on a “2023 Bronco Raptor” on their LinkedIn job profile.
The Toyota Hilux is a pickup that has made its name around the world for being an extremely dependable and bulletproof workhorse. In the Middle East, the Hilux continues to be a hot favorite among small-business buyers, and Toyota has done timely updates to keep it that way, even after switching production to Thailand. Since the current model was launched in 2016, a facelift is due to arrive in late-2020. But drivers won’t have to wait that long as the 2021 Toyota Hilux might already have been leaked.
BMW is toying around with the idea of fitting extreme grilles to its new cars in a bid to make their cars look more distinctive and somehow more premium, starting with the large kidney grille on the X7 and 7-series. For those who did not like it, there’s more bad news. The BMW Concept 4 gets unveiled at the 2019 Frankfurt Motors show which hints at the design of the next gen 4-Series and M4 coupes.
