Firstly, lets point out that Toyota isn’t doing all that bad in the Japanese taxi industry. However, their biggest rival at this point is Nissan, and in an attempt to overshadow the competition, Toyota is showcasing the new JPN Taxi Concept. The car was shown at the Tokyo Motor Show, and comes off as a riff on the legendary London Taxi.
The Ford Edge neatly fits in between the Explorer and the Escape in the GCC market. And the edgy styling helped it become one of Ford’s best-sellers here. Ford is previewing the new Edge at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. The catch? It’s still in its “concept” phase.
We’ve not heard much about Daihatsu in the recent past. There’s the Sirion, there’s the Terios and that’s pretty much it. However, things are going to be spiced up a bit, as they are all set to make a sporting comeback with the new Kopen, shown at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show this week.

The all-new 2015 Ford Mustang is, according to rumours, going to be revealed by the end of this year. It has been caught on camera numerous times under heavy camouflage, but certain details are becoming apparent. Someone took those details and guesstimated how the car will look, and it should be pretty close to this.
It’s bold, it’s tall, it’s a Suzuki and certainly not a Grand Vitara. But the signs are right from Suzuki, as they have officially shown off their iV-4 concept at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
It’s pretty normal to see car manufacturers unveil one-off concepts to grab the attention of media and viewers at auto shows. And the Initiale Paris Concept is surely Renault’s attempt at it. We’ve got to say, it is a pretty nice addition to Renault’s lineup of concepts, and we wouldn’t mind if it came into production anytime soon.
