Since its launch in the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the Ferrari FF stayed the fastest four-seater car in the world, till now. This first four-wheel-drive Ferrari is now officially declared to be replaced by a new machine from the Ferrari stable, the GTC4 Lusso. The name of the new model traces back to the older Ferrari models, the 330GTC and the 250GT Berliners Berlinetta Lusso.
When we went on a VW-sponsored trip to the 2016 Qatar Motor Show last week, we sat down with Thomas Milz, head of Volkswagen Middle East, for a casual chat on how the company is doing in the Middle East. We were there to witness the VW Tiguan‘s regional launch and, having seen it before in Frankfurt and Detroit already, we continue to be impressed by just looking at it. Porsche is going to rebadge their Boxster and Cayman as “718” models this year, complete with 4-cylinder turbo engines, the first of which have just been revealed. The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 made its debut at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed on 26 June as a concept car, but it has now become the first Jaguar performance vehicle from Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Operations team, produced in a limited-edition run of “up to” 250 units. It apparently pays tribute to the three-time Le Mans-winning D-type, which in 2014 celebrated its 60th anniversary year. The Project 7’s name pays homage to Jaguar’s seven outright Le Mans wins. The car is now on sale in the GCC.

We’re talking about McLaren and their new 570S, part of their entry-level Sports Series cars that are positioned as a rival to the Porsche 911 Turbo S, which is essentially the flagship of Stuttgart’s legendary rear-engined range.
Volvo has unveiled the all-new S90 this week, at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. The car initially made waves last year following an online release, but it hit the news again for its standard semi-autonomous driving features — it can essentially drive itself on certain roads.
The Volkswagen Tiguan GTE concept debuted at the Frankfurt Auto Show last September. For the 2016 Detroit Auto Show, they have brought in a slightly modified version of this model, called the Tiguan GTE Active Concept.
