Yanking a silk sheet off a car at ‘grand reveals’ is so old-hat. Audi obviously thinks so, and didn’t resort to this old chestnut for the first public appearance of its Merc S-Class/BMW 7 Series-baiting A8 limo. Volvo has recently announced that they will only sell hybrids and electric vehicles from 2019, stopping the production of the petrol-only and diesel cars altogether.
France broke the internet last weekend when their current government announced their plan to ban all petrol and diesel cars by 2040. Now Norway is supposedly announcing that they will carry out a similar ban by 2025.
The number of cars recalled in the month of June is higher than that in May this year. Here is the list.
Renault rolled out more information on their next-gen hot hatch, the all-new Megane RS, which is currently on the verge of being revealed to the public. It will have four-wheel steering and a choice between two different chassis setups.
Pick the lightest car in the arsenal and plonk in the most powerful engine from the shelf. This elemental process is exactly what Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations department (SVO) did to produce the XE SV Project 8 that they revealed at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
