2025 MG HS launched in the UAE

Inter Emirates Motors, the exclusive distributor of MG in the UAE, has introduced the all-new MG HS. The latest generation builds on the success of its predecessor, which was named Middle East Car of the Year in 2020. The new model is now available across MG showrooms in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, with prices starting from AED 84,500.

MG HS Performance and Drivetrain Options

The MG HS offers two engine choices. The base 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivers 173 hp and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

For those looking for more power, a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine produces 231 hp, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.

MG promises better performance, with improved noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) levels over the last generation model.

Design and features

The new MG HS features “Hunting Eye” LED headlights at the front and “The Shard” LED taillights at the rear.

The interior is designed with high-quality materials, featuring dual 12.3-inch HD screens for the digital cockpit. The leather seats include a memory function for the driver, while convenience features like dual-zone climate control, rain-sensing wipers, a wireless phone charger, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration enhance the driving experience. The three-spoke “squaricle” steering wheel adds a sporty touch.

Practicality is another strong point, with a power tailgate and a cargo capacity of up to 1,397 litres. An electronic panoramic roof provides an airy feel inside the cabin.

MG HS Safety and driver assistance

The MG HS has a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating and is equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Standard safety features include:
