Maserati GT2 Stradale Makes Overseas Debut in Abu Dhabi

Maserati held an exclusive two-day track event at Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, marking the overseas debut of the GT2 Stradale. Over 100 guests, including GCC and international media, attended the event, highlighting Maserati’s latest innovations.

Track Thrills and Exclusive Showcases

The event featured high-speed track sessions, hands-on experiences with Maserati’s Fuoriserie personalization program, and a showcase of the brand’s Formula E race car, set to compete in Season 11.

The biggest highlight was the global unveiling of the Maserati GT2 Stradale, a road-going version of Maserati’s GT2 race car. The track-only GT2 had a dominant 2024 season in the Fanatec GT2 European Series, securing multiple podiums and winning the Am class championship.

Performance and Driving Experience

Attendees got to experience hot laps in the GT2 Stradale, driven by a professional racing driver. Powered by a 640 hp 3.0L Nettuno V6 engine, the car rockets from 0-100 kph in just 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 324 kph. Equipped with CORSA DRIVE MODE, it delivers a race-inspired driving experience. Production is limited to 914 units, a nod to Maserati’s founding year in 1914.

Philippe Claverol, Maserati’s Head of Overseas Region, stated: “The GT2 Stradale represents Maserati’s dedication to performance and craftsmanship. Yas Marina Circuit is the perfect place for our clients and media to experience its capabilities first-hand.”

Expanded Maserati Lineup and Test Drives

Alongside the GT2 Stradale, Maserati showcased the Grecale SUV, offering an on-road test drive around Abu Dhabi. Other models on display included the GranTurismo, Grecale Folgore, GranCabrio Trofeo, and the flagship MC20. We also tested the GranTurismo Trofeo and Modena trims powered by the Nettuno V6.

The Trofeo delivers 550 hp, hitting 0-100 kph in 3.5 seconds, while the Modena’s 490 hp setup achieves the sprint in 3.9 seconds.
