2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S Gets More Performance & Features

The new Porsche 911 Carrera S has been unveiled, which is positioned between the base 911 Carrera and the more performance-oriented 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid. The updated model offers significant performance upgrades and a broader range of customization options, making it an enticing addition to the Carrera lineup. Available in both Coupé and Cabriolet versions, the new Carrera S gets more power and improved handling.

Porsche 911 Carrera S Performance

At the heart of the 911 Carrera S is an upgraded 3.0-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder boxer engine, which now delivers 480 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque, an increase of 30 horsepower over the previous model. New turbochargers and optimized charge-air cooling boost performance and improve efficiency. The Carrera S Coupé accelerates from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 308 kph, all powered by an eight-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK).

More Standard Equipment

The standard equipment list for the Carrera S has been significantly enhanced. It includes staggered 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels, a sports exhaust system with silver tailpipes, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+). The braking system has also been upgraded, featuring red brake calipers and large brake discs measuring 408 mm at the front and 380 mm at the rear.

For those seeking even greater performance, options like the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system and PASM sports suspension with a 10 mm lower ride height are available. Rear-wheel steering and refined damper hydraulics further improve agility and stability.

Porsche 911 Carrera S Interior

The Carrera S comes standard with black leather upholstery. The seats, dashboard, door panels, and optional rear seats are also finished in smooth leather. An extended leather option with contrast stitching in Crayon is available for added exclusivity.

Standard features include Matrix LED headlights and a wireless smartphone charger. In contrast, optional extras include HD-Matrix LED headlights, a front axle lift system, and the Sport Chrono package with the Porsche Track Precision app.
