MHERO Hybrid SUV Debuts in the UAE

The MHERO Hybrid SUV, a luxury off-road vehicle brought to the region by the Mohamed Hareb Al Otaiba Group (MHAO Group), was recently launched in the UAE. 

MHERO power and performance

The MHERO is no ordinary hybrid. As Dongfeng Motor Corporation’s flagship offering, this SUV redefines performance and efficiency with its innovative REV (Range-Extended Vehicle) system.

Unlike conventional hybrids, the MHERO pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with three electric motors. This setup delivers an impressive 805 horsepower and 1,050 Nm of torque, ensuring extended range, fuel efficiency, and off-road prowess.

The All-Wheel Drive system includes three differential locks and adaptive air suspension, making the MHERO a capable off-roader. 

It has a maximum wading depth of 900 mm. The MHERO 1’s electronics and electric powertrain are positioned high, and Dongfeng claims the cabin is sealed meticulously to allow it to cross water.

Exterior and Interior Design

The MHERO’s bold exterior design, with its muscular lines and rugged stance, complements its high-performance numbers. Inside, it boasts a spacious, tech-savvy cabin adorned with good use of premium materials.

Some highlights of the interior features include:

• Infotainment
  The MHERO 1 has a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel, a 15.6-inch touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch screen for the front passenger. 
• Seats

  The MHERO 1 has a 16-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, 14-way electrically adjustable front passenger seat, and 8-way electrically adjustable rear seats. 
• Comfort

  The MHERO 1 has front and rear seat ventilation, heating, and massage functions. 
• Lighting

  The MHERO 1 has 64-color ambient lighting.
• Storage

  The MHERO 1 has a 452-litre luggage compartment volume and an additional 20-litre luggage extension at the rear. 
• Other features

  The MHERO 1 has a high-quality hi-fi sound system, wireless smartphone charging, and 12-volt and 220-volt connections. 
   

MHERO price and availability

The MHERO Hybrid SUV is now available at the MHAO Group showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, The Curve Building. Price of the MHERO is said to be about AED 399,000.
