GAC Launches M8 MPV in the Middle East

GAC has unveiled its next-generation Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV), the M8, in the Middle East, marking a significant step for the brand, which already offers an impressive lineup. Following its success in the Chinese market, where it garnered praise from consumers and experts alike, the GAC M8 promises luxurious comfort and advanced safety features tailored for businesses and large families in the region.

GAC, as the first Chinese car brand to be featured on the Burj Khalifa, debuted the M8 at the Dubai Collaborative Light-Painting Art Show. The MPV’s luxurious features and
advanced technology was showcased against a backdrop of light and art, capturing significant attention.

This flagship MPV stands out with its distinctive “Awakening Eye” LED headlights, featuring height adjustment of low or high beams and a follow-me-home function. It also boasts an electromagnetic suspension system (SDC) that dynamically adjusts damping forces, enhancing handling and passenger comfort across various road conditions.

Externally, the M8 exudes a bold and sophisticated aesthetic with “Time Gate” LED taillights, a “Lion-like” front grille, and “Diamond-cut” side waistlines. Buyers can personalise the vehicle with different interior trims, exterior colours, and luxury features.

Safety remains a top priority for the M8, offering a comprehensive 360° airbag matrix, including a rear windscreen airbag—an innovation in its class. It is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and L2 self-driving assistance, enabling the vehicle to manage both steering and acceleration/deceleration for enhanced safety and convenience.

The M8 is now available in the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait, with plans to launch in Saudi Arabia by early July. Positioned as a preferred choice among Middle Eastern consumers seeking a premium driving experience with competitive pricing, fuel efficiency comparable to SUVs, and advanced passenger protection, GAC’s commitment to innovation is set to redefine the automotive landscape in the Middle East.
