First Look: 2025 Genesis G80 facelift launched in the Middle East
Genesis Middle East & Africa recently unveiled the facelifted G80 sedan in the region. The Genesis G80 has undergone a few exterior design updates, with the main changes being inside the car.
Exterior design
The G80’s exterior features a new dual-mesh design that accentuates the look of the two-line crest grille. It maintains its distinct two-line headlights equipped with microlens array (MLA) technology.
The 20-inch five-double-spoke wheel design contributes to a dynamic aesthetic reminiscent of an aircraft propeller. In addition, rear diffusers with hidden mufflers sport a distinctive V-shaped chrome trim inspired by the crest grille.
Genesis G80 Interior updates
The main difference for this model is in the interior, which now has a 27-inch-wide OLED display. In fact, the display combines the instrument cluster and infotainment screen in a horizontal layout that extends to the centre fascia.
Furthermore, the redesigned crystal-like rotary dial shifter adds a luxury feel.
The Genesis G80 Sport edition offers a more aggressive front fascia with its double-layered Crest Grille and expanded air intakes. Additionally, exclusive interior packages include a D-cut steering wheel and carbon-garnish options. Moreover, the G80 Sport has Rear-Wheel Steering (RWS)and an Electronic Limited-Slip Differential (E-LSD).
Comfort and Safety Features
The luxury sedan is equipped with advanced safety and convenience features, including remote parking assist, lane-following assist, and fingerprint authentication.
Simultaneously, the car also features a three-zone HVAC system, allowing for personalized climate control to ensure a comfortable ride for all passengers.
The rear passengers get reclining seats and several buttons on the central armrest to control comfort and entertainment features. To add, there are massive screens mounted on the front seatbacks to browse online or watch your favourite streaming services. The rear doors can be closed at the touch of a button, and thanks to window curtains, they enjoy extra privacy.
Genesis G80 Engine Specs
The G80 offers two powertrain options: a 2.5-litre turbocharged engine delivering 300 hp and 422 Nm of torque and a 3.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 375 hp and 530 Nm of torque.
