As Swaidan Trading, a subsidiary of Al Naboodah Group, reflects on its distributorship of Great Wall Motor (GWM) and HAVAL in the UAE, it is important to understand the group’s history and ambition, which have led to this present, successful partnership between the Emirati-owned conglomerate and the fast-growing, trendy Chinese SUV brands in the nation. Under the unwavering support of Al Naboodah Group, Swaidan Trading has successfully established five GWM and HAVAL showrooms and six service centers, which are spread across the UAE.  

GWM also recently unveiled its newest showroom in Abu Dhabi, a move that reflected its significant growth in the region whilst being fully equipped with top-of-the-line service, support, and spare parts availability. With Swaidan Trading’s robust distribution network, HAVAL can adopt a more customer-centric approach, delivering cars more quickly and efficiently to customers, thereby improving the overall buying experience and fostering brand loyalty.

In March 2023, HAVAL celebrated its presence in the UAE by hosting a grand launch event, attracting numerous well-known automotive and lifestyle influencers. The highlighted models included the stylish Jolion, the sporty H6GT, the bold explorer, Dargo and the next-generation pickup Poer. The festive evening was an opportunity to showcase HAVAL’s diverse vehicle range, underscoring its vision of catering to varied consumer and corporate vehicle needs. The event also featured interactive sessions, allowing guests to explore the cars up close.
