Al Nabooda Automobiles Clinches Coveted Volkswagen Middle East Dealer of the Year Award for a Second Year

Al Nabooda Automobiles L.L.C, the official distributor for Volkswagen in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, has once again been recognized at the prestigious Volkswagen Middle East Dealer of the Year awards. The latest win continues a run that has witnessed back-to-back Dealer of The Year accolades in 2023 and 2022 along with the Best Sales Dealer Network award in 2021. The award announcement follows a comprehensive regional competition conducted by Volkswagen Middle East, evaluating dealers in various categories such as customer experience in sales and service and performance in all areas of the business. Al Nabooda Automobiles also secured further top positions including distinctions as the Best Dealer in the region for New Car Sales, Used Car Sales, and Marketing. Customer Experience was a crucial determinant in the regional competition, and the Al Nabooda Automobiles team demonstrated excellence in this category by achieving top scores in all customer experience areas.

The recognition comes on the heels of a stellar year for both Al Nabooda Automobiles in Dubai and the Northern Emirates as well as for Volkswagen across the region, underscoring their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. The year 2023 marked the best year in sales for both Volkswagen Middle East and Al Nabooda Automobiles since 2015. The robust sales growth is attributed to a diverse lineup of models that cater to a wide range of customers across the Middle East. 

One of them, the all-new Volkswagen Amarok, was introduced in the latter half of 2023, redefining the pickup segment with a ground-up redesign, powerful performance, and premium features. This bold pickup, appealing to both adventure seekers and comfort enthusiasts, boasts a fresh design, turbocharged engines, and innovative all-wheel-drive systems. The striking exterior features powerful LED headlights and IQ. LIGHT – LED matrix headlights. With a potent turbocharged petrol engine generating 302 horsepower and 452Nm of torque, coupled with advanced 4Motion all-wheel drive and a differential lock, the Amarok stands out as a true off-roading champion. 

In 2024, Volkswagen customers can continue to witness exciting developments in the vehicle line up as the new Teramont arrives at Al Nabooda Automobiles following its Geneva International Motorshow debut in Qatar. The major refresh of the spacious 7-seater boasts significant interior upgrades with premium materials and standard high-end comforts, including three-zone Climatronic®, ventilated front seats and remote cooling. 

The enhanced Teramont is now powered solely by a new 2.0 liter, four-cylinder turbocharged and direct-injection TSI® engine with 270 horsepower and 370NM of torque. The new engine provides similar power to the outgoing VR6, a bump in torque—which is available over a broader rev range, improving drivability and acceleration—and is anticipated to provide improved fuel economy. Outside, model year 2024 brings a new front-end design with a wide chrome four-bar grille which is framed by LED headlights with the newly standard Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS). On all trims, the Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) wrap around the headlights and continue into an illuminated lightbar giving the vehicle an unmistakable premium look. 

These new additions complement the full range of Volkswagens available in the UAE, including Europe’s best-selling SUV, the Tiguan, the dynamic Golf GTI and Golf R, T Roc, and Volkswagen’s flagship premium SUV, the Touareg.
