OMODA & JAECOO Launch with Grandeur at Doha, Qatar Geneva International Auto Show

On October 6, the brand launch event for OMODA and JAECOO was splendidly held at the Doha, Qatar Geneva Auto Show, garnering widespread attention from the global media. At the event, OMODA showcased its star models, OMODA C5 and OMODA E5, heralding a new age of future driving experiences and green technology. JAECOO, making its debut in Qatar, introduced its premier urban off-road SUV, JAECOO 7, and the globally premiered JAECOO 8, encapsulating both a continuation and elevation of classic design.

Worth noting, at this Qatar International Auto Show, OMODA and JAECOO occupied an expansive 1260㎡ of exhibition space, the largest in the event, emanating a futuristic tech ambience and drawing significant crowds.

JAECOO’s New Model J8 Debuts Globally

Debuting at the Doha, Qatar Geneva Auto Show alongside OMODA was JAECOO. Unlike OMODA’s youthful crossover, JAECOO specializes as an urban off-road SUV brand, tailor-made for the sophisticated urban elites.

This exhibition marked JAECOO’s inaugural presentation in Qatar, featuring the heavyweight models JAECOO 7 and JAECOO 8. The JAECOO 7 has already entered its global market, earning considerable admiration. At the launch, a special vehicle handover ceremony was conducted for the first honoured owner of JAECOO 7, exemplifying JAECOO’s innovative step in establishing a new elite urban owner community and pioneering a new off-road ecosystem.

The JAECOO 8, another strategic addition to JAECOO’s global portfolio, made its world premiere at the Doha, Qatar Geneva International Auto Show. It flawlessly embodies JAECOO’s brand essence, “From Classic, Beyond Classic”, and advanced technology. With an all-scenario smart control four-wheel-drive system, it effortlessly navigates seven driving scenarios, representing a refined new off-road approach.

Following the Doha, Qatar Geneva International Auto Show launch, OMODA and JAECOO are set to convene a Global User Ecosystem Co-creation Conference in mid-October. They’ll be unveiling further futuristic strategic developments and cutting-edge technology.

Originating from the owners and returning to the owners, the core segment of this JAECOO owner conference, titled “Ecosystem Product Exhibition and Sale,” will see JAECOO unveiling their inaugural modified vehicle. With an Ultra-Long Range of 450km, the All-Electric OMODA E5 Makes Its Appearance.

At the Geneva International Motor Show in Doha, Qatar, OMODA unveiled its first all-electric model — the OMODA E5. Developed with pioneering, sporty, and intelligent concepts, it’s a car dedicated to exploring human-centred future mobility technology.

At the motor show, OMODA set up a futuristic corridor imbued with a sci-fi ambience, where the OMODA E5, embodying future aesthetics, is beautifully merged with a unique ethos that transcends time. Its fastback style, speed-of-light dynamic waistline, divided LED front headlight design, and 18-inch bright sporty rims have artfully combined light and shadow. The OMODA E5 radiates future dynamism and has drawn widespread admiration from the crowd for its innovative design.

As OMODA’s inaugural model championing sustainable development, the E5 is engineered to offer a world-class experience that goes beyond consumers’ expectations. The intelligent cockpit of the OMODA E5 is not just layered, fashionable, and visually striking but also distinctive of a new energy vehicle. It boasts a 24.6-inch integrated curved screen that is brimming with futurism. Its voice assistant operates on a “see-and-speak” basis, offering sensitive reactions and more humanized interactions. The OMODA E5 is also equipped with 19 ADAS system functions, ensuring a secure, carefree journey for its users.

In terms of driving experience, the OMODA E5 offers excellent road filtering and comfort. Its maximum range of up to 450km makes it more than sufficient for daily commuting and ensures that even for suburban outings, range anxiety is a thing of the past. The vehicle is powered by an engine with a maximum torque of 340N·m and can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 7.6 seconds, making its dynamic performance something to look forward to.
