2021 Nissan X-Terra launched in the UAE, KSA & GCC
Nissan Middle East has unveiled the 2021 Nissan X-Terra with a web event that marks the return of the popular Xterra nameplate, albeit with a hyphen in the badge and based on the ASEAN-market Terra.
The 2021 Nissan X-Terra had a global debut of sorts, as the existing Thai-market Terra facelift also debuted on the same day.
Powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel-drive, it also comes with a locking centre diff, brake-based limited slip differential and an electronic locking rear differential.
Available on the Patrol-inspired midsize SUV’s Platinum trim are Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Driver Alertness and Intelligent Emergency Braking.
Features include LED headlights, a 9-inch intuitive touchscreen display, “Zero Gravity” seats in the front and second row, and an emphasis on sound-deadening as they claim “best-in-class” ride comfort.
The Fortuner rival will be available in seven exterior colours, including bright brown and burgundy. The interior comes in black and light grey colours.
The 2021 Nissan X-Terra will go on sale from December 2020 across the Middle East.
