2020 GMC Acadia gets an extensive mid-life facelift

Sprucing up their contender in the highly competitive mid-size SUV segment, GMC revealed the 2020 GMC Acadia. Though it is is just a mid-life facelift, the 2020 Acadia gets a new design, more features, a new engine, and a new gearbox.

The looks of the 2020 GMC Acadia gets a thorough makeover in the form of a redesigned grille, and new standard LED lights. The Acadia AT4 trim will get black chrome finish along with a sporty dark interior. The Acadia Denali, on the other hand, gets all bling with chrome on the exterior and open-pore wood on the dashboard.

Powering the 2020 Acadia is a range of engines starting from the base 2.5-litre inline-4 cylinder engine, an all-new turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, and the range-topping 3.6-litre V6. The new engine is good for 230 hp and 350 Nm and it also comes with Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation) that can optimize efficiency.

Mated to the engines, comes a new 9-speed automatic transmission that is standard across the range.
