2019 Lexus UX200 now available in the UAE

Lexus recently launched the 2019 UX200 compact crossover for the UAE. The UX200 is now their new entry-level option in the SUV lineup. 

The UX200 gets a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, mated to a CVT. It is good enough to produce 169 hp and generate 205 Nm of torque.

Highlights for the exterior include their trademark spindle grille in the front. The rear gets full-length taillights. The fender flares give it SUV characteristics.

The interior upholstery quilting was inspired by Sashiko, a Japanese method used for martial art uniforms.  The interior does not feature as much soft touch material as a Lexus IS, but it is still a very decent cabin, with the higher models getting the Lexus navigation system with the big 10.2 inch system in the centre console.

The F-Sport model comes with more aggressive styling and performance-aiding techs like bespoke suspension tuning and the Adaptive Variable Suspension from the LC Coupe. These systems reduce body-roll during cornering.
