Polaris Slingshot attempts to go luxury

The Polaris Slingshot has graced a middle ground between motorcycles and cars, while being neither of those. Now though, Polaris has added something to a new Polaris Slingshot Grand Touring LE model that inclines it a bit more towards cars — a roof.

Called the Slingshade, the roof for the Slingshot comes standard with the Grand Touring LE model. The roof is hinged to the crossbar that runs down the spine of the car. This gives it a near-gullwing feel. Apart from the roof, it also comes with quilted seats and Polaris’ Ride Command infotainment system which should make your Grand Tours in the Slingshot easy.

The Grand Touring LE model comes finished in Matte Butt Gray or Indy Red along with a limited-edition Graphics pack.

The Polaris Slingshot Grand Touring LE was launched in the United States in February. It should be available to order from Polaris dealers in the UAE and other GCC countries.
