2018 Infiniti QX80 to have world premiere in Dubai

It’s not often that the 2017 Dubai Motor Show is chosen as the location for a world debut, but that is exactly what Infiniti is doing for the 2018 QX80, with the premiere of the production version to be held right here in the UAE.

A concept version called the Infiniti QX80 Monograph was shown earlier at the 2017 New York Auto Show in April, although from the teaser photo, it looks like the facelift will be less radical than that.

The QX80 started life as a 2011 Infiniti QX56 before undergoing a name change, and later receiving a minor mid-life facelift in 2015.

No other details are available, although we believe the 5.6-litre V8 engine will be carried over and the interior will receive some sort of makeover.
