2018 Porsche 911 Turbo Exclusive Series released

Porsche’s boffins at Stuttgart have revealed yet another 911 to sit on top of the already mental 911 Turbo S. Called the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series, the production numbers of this new variant does justice to its name as it is limited to 500 units.

The appearance package includes an exclusive Golden Yellow Metallic paint coat accented by carbon-fibre strips. The hood, side skirts, roof and the ram air scoops at the rear are also finished in carbon-fibre. A range of other colours are also available. A set of 20-inch black alloy wheels complete the visual package.

Inside, as a contrast, yellow is the only colour option. A set of 18-way adjustable sport seats comes covered in two layers of leather. The Golden Yellow colour can be found everywhere, from the inner layer of the seats to the Turbo S lettering on the headrests and even on the Alcantara-lined roof. The carbon-fibre sill plates flaunt the Exclusive Series logo.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is not all about the fancy bodywork. The 3.8-litre, biturbo flat-six engine has been fettled with to produce 607 hp, 27 more than the standard car, along with 750 Nm of torque. This powers the Exclusive Series from 0-100 kph in 2.9 seconds and to a top speed of 330 kph. To handle this firepower, Porsche has fitted its rear-axle steering and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) which helps in improving handling and stability. Porsche’s Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Sport Chrono package also come standard with the 911 Exclusive Series.

If you wish to add more exclusivity to the equation, Porsche has released a matching chronograph that will also have a limited run of 500 units. A leather luggage set is also tailored by Porsche to match the 911 Exclusive Series. The price of the whole package is US$ 310,200 which includes US$ 293,000 for the car, US$ 11,000 for the watch and US$ 6,200 for the luggage.
