UAE petrol prices for May 2017 announced
The UAE’s Ministry of Energy has announced the new prices for petrol that will be valid for the month of May.
The “Special” RON 95 petrol will cost Dhs 1.90 per litre and the “Super” RON 98 petrol will cost Dhs 2.01 per litre. The “E Plus” RON 91 petrol will cost Dhs 1.83 per litre and diesel will now cost Dhs 1.97 per litre.
In April, “Special” was Dhs 1.84 per litre, “Super” was Dhs 1.95 per litre, “E-Plus” was Dhs 1.77 per litre and diesel was Dhs 1.95 per litre.

I am in a dilemma!
I am currently putting Super in the GTI because VW have recommended it. Is this really true? Do I really need to do this?
Not that this price news breaks the bank or anything but I am curious to know whether it really matters or is just a hoax?
