2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet revealed

At the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Mercedes-Benz unwrapped the 2018 E-Class convertible, the latest addition to the already-expansive E-Class range.

The roof can be had in four colours — black, red, dark blue or dark brown — and can be retracted in 20 seconds when the car moves at 48 kph or less. The car is wider and longer than the outgoing model.

Inside, the cabin offers no surprises as it is directly lifted off the coupe. It gets the jet-inspired air vents, LED ambient lighting with 64 colours to choose from, leather seats with several colour choices, several interior trim options and the 12.3-inch display infotainment system. Mercedes-Benz’s Aircap and Airscarf systems are designed to reduce the flow of outside air into the cabin.

The E-Class cabriolet will initially get the 329 hp 3.0-litre bi-turbo V6 and 9-speed automatic transmission. The drive layouts on offer include rear and all-wheel drives.

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet will probably reach the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other GCC markets by the beginning of next year.

Comments

  1. The next decade will be Merc’s. Their new designs are much better than that of Audi and BMW.

New design themes of Both Audi and BMW are lackluster.

  2. love it, go merc!!!
