Nissan brings back Datsun to the Middle East
Nissan is bringing the Datsun brand back to the Middle East with the launch of two models in Lebanon, the on-DO and mi-DO. Datsun came back in 2014 after the brand was globally phased out in 1981. Datsun cars are currently being sold in India, Indonesia, Russia and South Africa.
The two models will be available in Lebanon through Rasamny Younis Motor Company (RYMCO), Nissan and Datsun’s distributor in Lebanon for the past 49 years, and will include the on-DO four-door saloon and the mi-DO five-door hatchback.
The on-DO sedan price starts at US$ 11,900. The mi-DO is starting at US$ 12,900.

Oh dear! Such a miserable car in India, absolutely horrible, badly rated for safety as well! Would hate to see them on our wider, higher speed roads here.
