2016 Geely Emgrand GT V6 variant launched in Oman
Towell Auto Centre recently launched the Geely Emgrand GT with the 3.5-litre V6 in Oman, after launching the 2.4-litre inline-4 model earlier this year. It comes a few months after the 4-cylinder car was launched in the UAE by Union Motors.
The front-wheel-drive GT is powered by either a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder or a 3.5-litre V6 engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Emgrand GT V6 is available in 2 variants — Elegance and Luxury. The 3.5-litre engine offers 285 hp and 326 Nm of torque.
As for the feature list, the Luxury variant includes a full set of airbags including knee bags, 12 parking sensors, heads-up display, blindspot detection, parallel semi-automatic parking, panoramic moonroof, rear a/c controls, VIP seat adjuster for rear passengers and electric rear windshield sunshade. Some of the other features include an electric-adjustable steering wheel, reverse Camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold, ABS and EBD, 18-inch alloy wheels, electric folding side mirrors, touchscreen radio, USB and AUX ports, Bluetooth and navigation.
The dealer is offering a 3-year and 100,000 km warranty with roadside assistance.
We drove a prototype version of the car last year. You can read about it here.
