2017 Renault Koleos previewed before debut
Renault has officially previewed the new 2017 Koleos which is slated for its public unveiling in the Beijing Auto Show on April 25.
At first sight, it’s quite easy to understand that the Koleos has taken the Renault Talisman mid-size sedan as its design inspiration. The front fascia is almost identical. We can also find traces of the Renault Kadjar crossover in the design as well. The new squarish design is a clear departure from the old curvy one. It looks bigger than the outgoing model.
The new SUV will bear the “Koleos” moniker itself, contrary to the rumours of introducing of a new “Maxthon” name.
Despite the bigger dimensions of the new car, it still offers seating for five rather than seven. As it’s a sibling of the Nissan Xtrail, expect some shared powertrains. Both FWD and AWD models may be offered. The new Koleos will hit the Chinese market by the end of this year with Europe set for early 2017. Its arrival in the GCC market may not happen until summer next year.

Hi All. I believe the car is already in market. The car sole agents are offering test drives for potential buyers. I’m eager to read a full review by drive arabia before me making a buying decision. It looks like a German, priced like a Japanese. Very interesting to get best of both world.
