2017 Volvo V40 facelift to be launched in Geneva

Volvo V40 T4 Momentum Studio 3/4 Front

The Volvo V40 gets a nip and tuck for the 2017 model ahead of its 2016 Geneva Motor Show launch. The V40 and the V40 Cross Country model has received Thor’s Hammer LED headlights similar to that of the XC90, S90 and V90.

The front bumper, the mesh grill and the Volvo “Iron Mark” logo have been redesigned as a part of the facelift. The rear of the car hasn’t been fiddled with much. The car will be made available in 5 new colours as well.

A new charcoal/blond steering wheel option, panel trims (Milled Aluminium, Black Grid Aluminium and Stealth Aluminium), new tread plates for R-Design and Inscription models, accent trim colours in the door inserts along with the City Weave upholstery complete the interior package additions. The updated version of the Volvo On Call smartphone app will enable the driver to control several in-car features. CleanZone technology eliminates harmful pollutants in the air prior to their entry into the cabin.

The new Volvo V40 and its Cross Country version gets a revised 2.0-litre 4-cylinder D2 diesel engine with reduced emissions. The petrol engines will probably remain the same.

Expect the 2017 Volvo V40 to make its way to the UAE, Qatar and other GCC countries sometime next year.

  1. It looks like a cute little wireless mouse from the front three-quarter, but either way, Volvo is doing a very good job with their new designs (both interior & exterior)!

  2. Volvo has alot of nice cars and they have had alot of nuce cars in the past. Its a shame that their dealers in Saudi don’t havethe track record of reflecting this cars presence in the market. What I always loved about swedish cars was the turbo factor mixed with fuel efficiency. I mean it really feels that they intake fuel by a straw.
