2016 Bentley Flying Spur V8 S to debut at Geneva

Offering a peek into the latest addition to the Flying Spur lineup is Bentley, with their new V8 S version. Slated to bridge the gap between the V8 and the top-of-the-range W12, the car is set to debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show next month.

The luxury sedan will feature a new black matrix grille, Beluga gloss rear diffuser, fresh 20-inch or optional 21-inch black Mulliner Driving Specification black wheels, tinted headlights and taillights, and glossy black mirror covers.

The V8 S houses the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 featured in the standard Flying Spur, except it has been tuned to produce an impressive 521 hp and 680 Nm of torque- a bump of 21 hp. The car will also reportedly accelerate from 0-100 kph in 4.9 seconds, before maxing out at 306 kph. Furthermore, the 8-speed ZF automatic transmission has been tweaked for better throttle response.

The interior receives a minor refresh with piano black wood veneers, two-tone upholstery and a contrasting roof centre-bow. There’s also a new three-spoke sports steering wheel and a knurled gear lever.

A newly optimised electronic stability system will also debut in the car.

The car is expected to roll into dealerships in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the GCC in the coming few months.

Keep track of the latest prices and updates in the Bentley Flying Spur buyer guide.
