2017 Porsche 718 Boxster facelift revealed
Porsche recently unveiled the 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster facelift with new 4-cylinder turbo engines.
Looking at the exterior, it gets a new front fascia which features larger air intakes and new xenon headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. At the back, it gets revised side skirts, larger side air intakes, and new door handles.
The interior remains largely the same, with the main notable change being new circular A/C air vents on the dashboard. The Porsche Communication Management system has been updated as well, along wit a new steering wheel design.
The most significant change is the new engines on offer. The entry-level 718 Boxster gets a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine producing about 300 hp and 379 Nm of torque. It does 0-100 kph in 4.6 seconds, using the PDK transmission and hits a top speed of 274 kph. The 718 Boxster S gets a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder motor, which churns out 350 hp and 418 Nm of torque. This is good enough to propel it from 0-100 kph in 4.1 seconds, when equipped with the PDK. Keep pushing it, and it can go up to 285 kph.
The new engines has helped increased fuel efficiency by 13-percent. With the optional PDK, fuel consumption value for the 718 Boxster is 6.9 l/100 km and 7.3 l/100 km for the 718 Boxster S.
The 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster is already available to order in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries.

Awesome looking machine. I still love my 1999 Boxster.
