2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew unveiled in Detroit
Ford has officially unveiled the new F-150 Raptor SuperCrew at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. The truck first broke covers as a CrewCab, in the same venue last year.
The Raptor SuperCrew will receive an aggressive front bumper and mesh grille, alongside flared fenders that houses massive BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tyres on 17-inch alloys wheels.
Underneath the F-150 Raptor SuperCrew is a 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 engine producing an impressive 411 hp and 587 Nm of torque. Furthermore, it will put down power to all four-wheels through an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission with a torque-on-demand transfer case.
The interior is at par with the outgoing F-150, but rear seat passengers receive better legroom and easier entry and exit thanks to the larger rear doors.
The new Raptor will be fitted with a new ‘Terrain Management System’ that has six-different modes, which include- Normal, Street, Weather, Mud and Sand, Baja (for high-speed desert running) and Rock. The truck also has FOX Racing Shox tuned off-road focused suspension.
The 2017 F-150 Raptor SuperCrew is expected to hit the sands of UAE, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the GCC later this year.
