UAE petrol prices for October 2015 announced
The UAE’s Ministry of Energy has announced the new prices for petrol that will be valid for the month of October.
The “Special” RON 95 petrol will cost Dhs 1.79 per litre and the “Super” RON 98 petrol will cost Dhs 1.90 per litre. The “E Plus” RON 91 petrol will cost Dhs 1.72 per litre and diesel will now cost Dhs 1.89 per litre.
In September, “Special” was Dhs 1.96 per litre, “Super” was Dhs 2.07 per litre, “E-Plus” was Dhs 1.89 per litre and diesel was Dhs 1.86 per litre.

So basically prices are almost down (for petrol) to where they were before deregulation. I hope this is the calm after the storm and not the other way around.

When the deregulation first came out I said prices may go down in the future and everybody disagreed and speculated price increases for the coming months. Now I won’t say I told you so 😀

Close to what it was before prices were deregulated. Good for now but looking ahead I am concerned as to what it would be once oil prices go up.
