2016 Lexus LX 570 facelift officially revealed
Lexus has officially taken the wraps off the 2016 LX 570 facelift in Pebble Beach.
Looking at the exterior, the front fascia gets a massive new one-piece spindle grille, a new bumper design, new LED headlights and LED fog lights. The rear gets some changes too with reshaped taillights and bumper. New 20-inch and 21-inch alloy wheel designs have been added as well.
Inside, the new LX 570 gets an updated infotainment system featuring a 12.3-inch display, 4.2-inch instrument cluster display and a standard panoramic view camera. It has also received a drive -mode select. Other features include a head-up display, LED ambient lighting, wireless charging, 11.6-inch displays for the rear-seat entertainment system and an upgraded Luxury Package which offers ventilated and heated rear seats.
Mechanically, the main change is a new 8-speed automatic transmission replacing the old 6-speed. The engine is still the same 5.7-litre V8.
The 2016 Lexus LX 570 should arrive in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries before the end of the year.

Nice interior, also 8 speed gear is great improvement if it is directed to better fuel consumption.
But The exterior especially from the back is not only odd but can be considered a real fail, same design mistake as new pajero sport. Don’t know what happened with those Japanese car companies.

It is about time for Lexus to ditch that hourglass shaped Audi-wannabe front bumper and that those ugly V-shape headlights LEDs, although those on the LX are far less uglier than the ones in the IS and GS.

The front predator style grills might be attractive for most, but for some reason defy the purpose of the aggressive styling once the number plates are put on them.
