KTM X-BOW GT Dubai Gold Edition by Wimmer

Gold wraps and tuning packages aren’t news to us. But having a car tuned, wrapped and then named after Dubai caught our attention. The KTM X-BOW GT Gold Edition is a product of German tuners Wimmer.

The KTM X-BOW GT is essentially a toned down version of the R. But quite clearly the peeps at Wimmer thought otherwise. The KTM X-BOW GT Dubai Gold Edition has an Audi sourced 4-cylinder 2.0-litre turbocharged engine producing 478 hp and 520 Nm of torque, thanks to some software tweaks and “miscellaneous modifications”. This recipe makes way for acceleration times of 3.0 seconds from 0-100 kph and subsequently 9.9 seconds to 200 kph.

As you probably would have guessed by now, the KTM X-BOW GT Dubai Gold Edition was ordered by someone from Dubai, who wanted it wrapped in shiny gold foil.
