2015 Audi A6 in the UAE

The Audi A6 has been facelifted. What, you don’t believe us? Look closer. It’s got new headlights and things. Truth is, the facelift really is limited to headlights and things, but it’s enough to make this midsize sedan look stunning with the “S-Line” package. Just look at those wheels.

Having never driven an A6 before, we were also surprised by the “niceness” of the interior, with such details as matte textured wood trim and brown leather upholstery, aside from the LCD screen that hides away when turned off and soft-touch surfaces generously spread out down to the footwells. Oh, and of course a handwriting recognition system.

Being a midsizer, it has decent space inside, and the boot is tremendous. If you never intend to carry VIP passengers in the back, you don’t need to upgrade to the A8. Ever.

Interestingly, while our tester was loaded with features and trim materials, it actually had the base engine. More on that in the full review.

  1. How’s the Little one doing Mash? Clearly that boot space is handy (I’ve got my keen on such space, especially as I’ve also been blessed with children), for the stroller. I drive a CC and that too has a similarly sized boot and swallows the stroller neatly. Was looking for a 3 row vehicl, which, after the 3rd row is in place (not folded), would still be able to accept the stroller and would appreciate your comments and guidance.

    Appreciate it!

By the way, the slight changes, does make the A6 look a lot better and modern. With the E class and 5 series getting a bit boring, looks like A6 is going to cash in on the same with this update!

You may need to start taking your stroller into showrooms them. Most will fit, but may need to keep the 3rd-row backrest more upright.

  2. Thank you Mash, was definitely planning to get the stroller along with me, for the showroom visits :), it has become an integral part of our family rides and if its a family hauler, it should be a good and relevant metric as well.
